To this location I say: if you don't want customers at 5:30 in the morning, then why are you open at 5:30 in the morning? I couldn't have been more angrily stared down by all three employees when I walked in the door if they tried. The girl behind the counter was clearly pissed I was here, and when I asked for a second she angrily stomped away and then returned less than a second later to stare at me until I ordered my measly bagel and coffee....

Connected with daughter at noon. Had apple Fiji salad. Was so so and pretty skimpy I might add. Coffee was good and fresh as usual. Next time I'll stick to the baggels.

Paneras back at home are pretty high end. The stores are clean, the workers are professional, and the food is fresh and tastes good. I can't say the same for this one. It's run down, doesn't seem clean, and my friend even found a sticker/label in her soup. Gross. Won't be coming here again

My friend and I stopped by Panera for breakfast before our drive up to Traverse City. I had the egg white, avocado, and spinach breakfast power sandwich along with an iced tea, and it was all reallly good! Anything with avocado is automatically delicious in my books. The sandwich was also filling and held me through for the ride up to Traverse City. Would I come back? I love Panera breakfast sandwiches and would definitely come back.

I'm usually skeptical of negative reviews but it's easy to see why there are so many for this location. Another reviewer nailed saying the staff tolerates you. Not at all friendly. I stood there for several minutes waiting to order without getting acknowledged. I had to say something to get service. It was not busy. I also heard them tell three different people they were out of items at nine am, which other reviewers have mentioned.

OMG. I ordered the Thai chicken salad. HORRIBLE. I couldn't get that rancid taste out of my mouth. Even email company a complaint.

Best to avoid this location. The problem? They hire very inexperienced people - then expect the store to run professionally. Maybe for a high school cafeteria... Always some kind of drama here. The food? I'm sorry - it doesn't matter when the staff is incompetent.

Can you say absolutely disgusting? Their food was so bland and tasteless. I have been to other ones and never missed a beat, can't say much about this one. Poor management, just a dirty and unappealing place. I will never return to this one again. This was my second time here, never again. I definitely recommend that they do something about this location. It's a shame that they are not up to par like the others

I love this location! The customer service is great. I once ordered something on the Panera app by rapid pick-up, and I didn't enter the right location, because the Panera staff here never got the order. I checked my phone again and it turned out my food was ready at some other Panera location on South Rochester Road. I was in a hurry, but the staff here offered to make my meal. I read out all my customizations out loud (I didn't know you could add so many toppings and cheeses! Haha) and they made it in about a minute. They were super understanding and nice, and I should've taken down their names! It was a girl and a young man... Very helpful, I know.

This place has a problem. Employees act like they are tolerating you, uncoordinated as all get out at times and one heck of a worn interior. The booths are worn (seats) in the big booths and the layout is just not well designed. It has 3 large booths total, a handful of small booths and a mish-mash of other set ups. Probably the worst location in the area.

Worst panera Bread ever - go to the one on ADAMS Road This one always gets your order wrong - always without fail Super slow Better yet get a soup and salad from the meeting house just as cheap and so much better service and food

This location is terrible. They are extremely slow and don't care about waiting on customers. They never keep up with coffee and run out of everything. I have been to many locations. They should shut this one down. Recommend the location at Adams Rd.

Awful! This is the third time that we have experienced this at this Panera; it is filthy, food all over the floor, tables dirty. The restaurant is out of bagels, flatbread. When my family expressed disappointment to cashier she didn't care at all, her name is Lauren

Worst Panera location EVER!!! Awful customer service and just plain rude. Waited in line for almost twenty minutes when I finally get to the front to place my order. An indifferent cashier tells me they are no longer serving breakfast and half the bread was sold out. This is all before noon. I love Panera but will never go to this location again!

I like Panera Bread's food, but this location isn't very good. It's the closest location to my home so I end up going anyways. The managers have nasty attitudes with customers and staff. Staff are frequently telling me they can't make something I've received there before (A decaf coffee with chocolate sauce in it or a sandwich without red onions). They also seem to run out of almost everything by dinner time and will often substitute toppings and breads without asking. Last time I went I was ill and asked for a grilled cheese sandwich and chicken noodle soup. They were out of the soup and obviously american cheese too, without asking they put smoked gouda cheese on my sandwich, figuring I wouldn't notice because it was orange I guess. Didn't find out until I got it home, and I ended up throwing it out because I don't like smoked cheeses at all. Parking is awful too, but that's not really something they can control.

This Panera, like all the ones I've been to, has a much older crowd. I love Panera, just not this one. This is the worst location I've been to. The employees are slow and rude. Parking and seating is terrible. I'm not a fan of most Panera sandwiches. The reason I only gave this Panera one star - I ordered an Asiago Roast Beef sandwich, it's made with one tiny sliver of processed lunch meat, a tomato slice, and a TON of lettuce and red onions for about $7. I was so disappointed in the small amount of meat at such a high price that I wrote an email to headquarters. I was kind and just suggested they add more meat. I got a follow-up call from this location by the manager and in a very snotty tone she said "that's just how we make them and we did nothing wrong." I merely made a suggestion, I don't think it warranted that rude phone call.

Food was good. Love the soup and sandwich combo. Crowded and busy. Parking is a challenge at times.

I love Panera. All Paneras. I'm particularly fond of their basic deli sandwiches, although the cream of chicken and wild rice soup is ah-may-zing. I've never been to a Panera where the staff hasn't been perfectly friendly and helpful. I like this particular Panera because of the way it's laid-out, there are almost two distinct sections: one side is more like a coffee-house, which has smaller tables and the other is a regular dining area with larger tables and booths. I went to study on a Friday afternoon and it was relatively quiet and quite comfortable. My only complaint with Panera isn't really a complaint at all as it really has to do with my extreme lack of will power when it comes to delicious treats. They offer any bakery treat for 99 cents with a meal, a deal of which I have never nor will ever be able to refuse. I really like their chocolate duo cookie and their cheese danish. Yum.

I love going to Panera, and this store is no exception. While there is nothing noteworthy about this store, over any other Panera, it still is a worthwhile visit. The menu is great, soup and sandwiches, and the service is fast (great for lunch or a quick dinner, nothing fancy though). There is also a wide variety of bakery goods and pastries. I highly recommend this chain and will go again.
